Im an old mircosoft hack trying to get up to speed on some of the new trends in web development.  My history is VB/SQL and I think im going to have to get .NET certified MCSD to ge able to compete with the younger generation of progrmamers.  I have good knowledge of html, document object model, css, graphics, and networking issues.  I have set up joomla sites from scratch and also zen cart ecommerce sites.  I really want to be working back towards asp.net, which may displease some of you since it seems its the whole world against microsoft, but I realize the value of php/mysql as many web hosting compnies run some flavor of unix, usually linux.  Im not a know it all, but I would like to be.
