Though add-ons and extensions aren’t just for Web development, many of them out there are designed specifically for Web developers. In-browser tools vary greatly in the jobs they perform; for example, some of them help you diagnose issues with CSS, HTML and JavaScript, while others evaluate the accessibility of your website. Work on HTML 5 started in 2004 and even after 5 years of work we are no where close to having a final draft. According to the co-editor of HTML 5, Ian Hickson, we might have to wait till 2022 for the final proposed draft of HTML 5. But thats no reason to be discouraged, HTML 5 will be a major improvement over previous markup so changes are likely to come in small increments. Since the release of the first draft in 2008, most major browsers (yes including IE8) implemented some of the features proposed in this draft and it is already generating a lot of interest from developers. Today we will look at 5 of these exciting HTML 5 features and its implementation.

Open up notepad on your computer. This is the only software you will need to begin learning html. A quick explanation of tags Due to this article being hosted online I cant actual show you a tag as the webpage you are reading would make it invisible Tags begin with a "<" symbol and end with a ">" symbol. For the purpose of this artical I will replace these with the "[" and "]" symbols. Remember to always use the arrows though as the square brackets WILL NOT WORK.

Listen to the video, follow the instructions, and you will automatically create a web page. Once the code is saved as a file.html, you simply upload it to your webspace. To produce a more advanced page listen to the other videos that follow this and/or take a look at my website where I have templates you can use. I also have some software that produces the webpages for you if you are new and really don't know what you are doing
