Sanyo Xacti HD700 with CHEAP wide angle adapter II

The compact, pocket-fitting Xacti HD700 measures just 73.7 x 35 x 109 mm and weighs 189 g (body only). In line with other Xacti series digital movie cameras, it’s shaped for comfortable one-handed shooting on the run. It’s the ideal movie camera to match your active, on-the-go lifestyle.

HD movies on the Xacti HD700 are recorded in the high-compression MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format. As the movie files are small, they’re easy to upload to the web for podcasts or weblogs. An electronic image stabilizer helps keeps your movies smooth and steady, while the 5x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom let you zero in on the action while it’s happening.

The Xacti HD700 captures the magic of the moment forever, with high-sensitivity 7.1-megapixel still images at up to ISO 3200. Still images and movies can even be captured simultaneously, with a simple button press. Meanwhile, features such as the Face Chaser, Full Auto and Simple modes make the HD700 as fun for the beginner to use as it is for the more experienced photographer.

The supplied docking cradle gives you a raft of connection options. By connecting the unit (via USB) to an external hard disk, you can back up your movies and stills without having to access a PC. The cradle also sports HDMI and component video connections, for high-quality playback on a connected HDTV.
