✦ dhcp —Common files used by both the ISC DHCP server (dhcp-server) andclient (dhcp-client) packages.

✦ dhcp-client —An alternative DHCP client from the ISC. This DHCP client uses the same configuration file as the standard dhcpcd client (/etc/dhclient.conf) and also supports additional configuration through a configuration script (/sbin/dhclient-script) that is called by the dhcp-client daemon.

✦ dhcp-devel —Libraries and headers for developing with the Internet Systems Consortium (ISC) dhcpctl API.

✦ dhcp-relay —The ISC DHCP relay agent that routes DHCP messages across physical network segments.

✦ dhcpcd —The default DHCP client software used on SUSE systems. The dhcpcd daemon retrieves an IP address and other information from a DHCP server, automatically configures the network interface, and manages lease renewal and release.
