Ubuntu is good, im more of a backtrack Linux fan myself though.

I like more Fedora, ubuntu is greate too but I more a Redhar Fan.

For servers I've found RedHat to be a nuisance. Debian is most convenient.

For desktops I prefer Macs. With BSD underneath you get Unix, too!
